More framed gifts

This was the first personalized gift I made for my husband's friend who got married recently. I loved the frame that I got at michaels and the frame was perfect for this cupid's bow and arrow. I also engraved their intials around the arrow "S" and "G".

I made this for my co-worker Karen as a wedding gift. I made wedding bells and a wedding cake. Together with the frame, it came out to be a very simple and sophisticated wedding gift and she really loved it.

I made this one for my ex-college roommate who came to visit me. This is the chinese symbol of LOVE with their names stitched at the bottom. I loved the ash style frame for this one and of course she loves my handmade gifts and adored this one too.

I made this simple and cute gift for my relative who live down the street. They are a really nice couple with both their names starting in V. I had to contemplate the frame for this one, since the first one that I chose didnt go very well with the style of cross-stitch. This frame ended up suiting it very well.

cross-stitch gifts

I loved the mini frames that I got at Aaron brothers for 4$ each. These were small gifts -- one for my sister and one for my co-worker Jennifer who gave me a lot of baby goodies when my son was born.

I made watermelon and bag of apples spice bags for my sister's kitchen decoration. I ended up giving the apples spice bag to one of my best friends parvatha for lack of time in making another gift for her. They turned out to be my favorites, I can't wait to make them for me.

Creation

I started the blog thinking that i need a journal of my hobbies and my baby's development. Well, I spent too much time at home in my maternity, which created an urge for all the home decoration. After a while, I wanted to spend some energy in making gifts for people I really care about and that kicked off my cross-stitch addiction.
