Majestic Tiger

Thanks to my sister for sending her completed cross-stitch. This majestic tiger took her almost more than a year to finish. The tiger now reigns over her sitting room.

For a stitching fanatic

I made this for my sister who is crazy about stitching, she makes lots of quilts, soft toys, cross stitch stuff, sweaters by knitting, crochet decorations, quilted curtains etc. And she always has so many projects on her everyday list. I made this for her to hang on the doorknob of her crafts room.

Miniature gift

I did this small gift for my friend who had gotten married. She was pleasantly surprised.

Slokas book

I found this really nice website that lets you caption your writing in selected fonts that helps you do cross-stitch for any occasion comfortably.
http://www.crosstitch.com/fontform.html

Using the caption maker, I did this piece for my mom's devotional songs collection. My mom meets with a few friends twice a week in her building for religious activities. She loved it and she said she would show it off to all her friends.

Birth announcement

I made this one as a birth announcement for a newborn baby. I did put a lot of thought into it, and I am not sure if the family appreciated this gift. I picked the disney font for writing the baby's name. I really loved the way it turned out.

Gifts made during Christmas

I made this as a wedding gift for my husband's friend. I didn't have much time to do it since I was taking care of my 6-month old alone at that time and they were leaving the country in a week. I simplified the design a lot, but came out wonderfully with the gold-decorated frame. They really loved it and were surprised my baby let me finish it in so less time.

I made this for my college friend who visited me during christmas. These days, we occasionally meet with friends who live in another part of the country, so I really wanted to make something nice for her. I ended up making a cupid's arrow and engraved their initials. Of course, I put her initial first and then her husband's initial. My husband argued that it should have been his initial first. :)

Oldies

One of my initial cross-stitch favorites. It took me almost a year to finish this and it was because it was mostly half cross stitches. This continues to be one of my most favorites and hangs in my drawing room. The frame was from Ikea and it really accentuates the garden scenery.

My first ever cross stitch, turned out very beautiful.

My second cross-stitch, cute little kittens. Still figuring out a nice way to display this piece.

My sister made these pooh and eeyore disney cross stitches and they decorate my son's nursery and were the inspiration behind winnie the pooh theme for his nursery.
